UWC-USA has hosted summer teacher training workshops for teachers of
the International Baccalaureate curriculum for over 20 years.
Participants will enjoy the quiet setting of the United World College
campus located near the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in
Montezuma, New Mexico. The campus is a one hour drive from Santa
Fe, NM and six miles from the town of Las Vegas, New Mexico (pop.
16,000).
Workshop facilities include the renovated, historic Montezuma Castle
and a field house. The field house includes a fitness center, squash
courts, and a gymnasium. The renovated Montezuma Castle houses classrooms,
dorm rooms, offices, the student recreation center and the dining
hall.
